A community of open hearts, open minds, and open doors ...

Childrens Ministries

The Children at Park City Community Church are a very important part of what happens on Sunday Mornings.

Therefore we start our church services with the children in church with their parents. We believe that children need to experience the faith community to feel a part of it and worship with all ages. Studies have shown that if children never experience church while growing up they will not think to attend as an adult. So we welcome the children!

Sunday School Information:

Nursery care is available for children under 2 years of age at both the 9:00 am and 10:30 am services. Parents are welcome to bring their child to the nursery before service starts. It is located downstairs and to the right.

Pre School

Pre school children are encouraged to stay with their parents at the beginning of the service and come forward at the time of the children's sermon with pastor Tracy. Parents are then invited to assist their child to the pre school room located downstairs and to the right at the end of the hall.
During the summer children ages 2-4 years of age are combined in one class. During the school year they are divided into a 2-3 year old group and 3-4 year old group as needed.

Grade School Children, Kindergarten - 5th Grade

Grade school age children start in church with their parents and are asked to come forward at the time of the children's sermon with Pastor Tracy. They then follow their teachers downstairs for a short time of Praise & Worship before going with their teachers to class.
Fall Sunday school has started back in session! This is a great time to renew our commitments as families to coming to church and reconnecting with God and our faith community. Sunday school classes are separated according to grade level. All class rooms are clearly labeled accordingly.
Welcome and see you in church!!
Acolyte means attendant or helper.
The Acolytes light the altar candles and the Christ candle just as service is about to begin. The Bible says Jesus is the Light of the World and lighting the candles reminds our congregation that God is with us.
How do I become an Acolyte?
1) You must be entering 3rd grade in the fall when the school year begins. This is a 3rd grade ministry only.
2) You must attend Acolyte training which happens every fall. If Acolyte training can not be attended please contact Becky Lewin at 435-649-4110.
